Kamaz plans to raise sales of trucks in Uzbekistan
TASHKENT, Dec 4 (PRIME) -- Truck producer Kamaz plans to raise its sales in Uzbekistan through investment projects of other Russian companies in the country, Russia’s trade representative office in Uzbekistan said in a statement on Monday.
The office organized a meeting of the top managers of UzAutoTrailer, a company that set up an assembly of Kamaz trucks in Uzbekistan, and of Truck Asia Leasing to discuss Kamaz’ position strengthening in Uzbekistan.
“The parties drafted an array of actions aimed at an increase of the sales of large trucks in the republic,” the representative office said.
The actions included prospects of a wider utilization of Kamaz trucks in the investment projects of Russian companies in the country and expansion of the instruments of state support of external economic activity, the office said.
